ABATE is mainly a motorcyclists rights organization dedicated to preserving the riders freedom of choice and freedom of the road, education and safety. Our members are active in public awareness programs, motorcycle safety programs and in supporting all types of charity events.
The Northwest Suburban Chapter of ABATE of IL covers suburban Cook County as well as parts of Lake and Mc Henry. Our monthly chapter meetings are held at the Rose Garden Cafe in Elk Grove Village on the fourth Wednesday of every month starting at 7:30 p.m. Come out to a meeting and see what we're all about. It doesn't matter what you ride - everybody is welcome...

This marks the 18th national Ride to Work Day. Ride to Work Day is a Minnesota-based non-profit organization whose mission statement is "advocating and supporting the use of motorcycles and scooters for transportation, and providing information about everyday utility riding to the public." We at the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) support this group and encourage everyone to participate, at the same time wondering, shouldn't every day be ride to work day?
