ABATE is mainly a motorcyclists rights organization dedicated to preserving the riders freedom of choice and freedom of the road, education and safety. Our members are active in public awareness programs, motorcycle safety programs and in supporting all types of charity events.

The Northwest Suburban Chapter of ABATE of IL covers suburban Cook County as well as parts of Lake and Mc Henry.  Our monthly chapter meetings are held at the Rose Garden Cafe in Elk Grove Village on the fourth Wednesday of every month starting at 7:30 p.m.   Come out to a meeting and see what we're all about.  It doesn't matter what you ride - everybody is welcome...

Call Your State Representative Ask Them To:
VOTE NO on HB 473
This bill would allow the Governor to transfer funds from, among others, the Cycle Rider Safety Training Fund and the Off Highway Trails Fund to the state's general fund. This bill was a benign Funds Transparency bill when introduced in the House. In one day, voting along party lines, the Senate amended and passed this bill to allow the funds transfers. The amended HB 473 has been placed on the House calendar for a vote of concurrence. Please Contact Your State Representative Immediately And Ask Them To Vote No On HB 473. Dan Harper
